Fantastic space. Isn't wonderful how we change our ideas to accommodate our little one's ideas of what they need :roflfail: ciao

Nice. Ironically our "ferret room" is the only room with carpet, but they don't get locked in there unless they're in the cage. Not that it matters. They've managed to ruin the carpet anyway.

Looks like a great space for them. I like how the closet became the cage area

Lol the closet was just perfect and it opened the room up more for them thank you husband it was his idea. We wanted to put them flat on the floor because my ferrets have decided to get under the bottom part and use the back corners of the closet for the bathroom but the left cage is an older model that the legs are part of the bottom so that won't work. They always challenge us.

This is awesome! I'm still trying to figure out how to do a ferret room. I might have to invest in some extra carpet because Loki loves to dig at it and the current one doesn't belong to me.

I wish I had advice on carpet I lucked up and the house we are in is all wood or tile woo easy poo patrol. I have a digger too. Even though there is a baby gate Dib goes to the side where it opens and digs if he wants out. So I tape there and tape all over the potty pad there so he doesn't rip it up. Thankfully mine don't try to eat it. They don't like the tape sound when using it either everyone gets the house the romp around in on clean days.

I meant to ask about the baby gate. Where did you get it? We had a similar one but it broke and we couldn't find the same one.

EBay this one is called the first years everywhere gate. I did have to put a decorative panel on one side to prevent the tiny ones from escaping and shorten the blocks. Unfortunately i paid $45 for mine and the cheapest one now is $150. But i did have an idea the just plain gates with wide spaced bars might work with clear bannister guard plastic. The plastic was $15 and would be enough to do several cheaper gates.
