i would say tap water, because you can get purifiers for your sink. personally i use the water from the fridge i would say bottled water isnt good for anyone one time my science teacher put a match in an empty aquafina bottle, and it shot off like a rocket. It scared everyone!

I use plain tap water We generally have really good quality water in the city, so I don't see any real problems. Just steer clear of distilled water. That can leech minerals from the body over time. I usually get huge jugs of spring water. is that alright for ferrets to drink?

Spring waters fine. Distiller water is what you need to worry about.

Thanks for the input everyone! I`m sticking with good old tap water. The water quality here is perfectly fine. And using bottled water would get wayyy too expensive, I `ve only had my new ferrets a couple of hours and I`ve already changed the water bowl 3 times from them putting litter in it

one time my science teacher put a match in an empty aquafina bottle, and it shot off like a rocket. That's because the gases build up inside a small enclosed space pretty quickly. It has nothing to do with either bottle or water.

I used to use tap water, which was just fine, but moved more out into the country, so that's why I don't use it here. Tap is perfectly fine in most places.
