Just wondering which you all use and is tap water safe? Or should I stick to bottled?
Thanks!

I filter my tap water through a water purifier pitcher. When I'm lazy I'll grab a bottle of water. I live in the mountains and sometimes our water is funky.

I use water from the brita if its full. If not I use tap. I try not to overanalize things or I'd go crazy!

Tap water. Our water is of really good quality in Miami, Florida (actually I read it is the cleanest in the U.S.) but, if I lived in a place with bad drinking water (like new jersey-- gag) I would just use the Brita water filters. I think they sell them at Target.

Really? I would think Miami waters would be bad because it is such a big, populates city which to me = lots of pollution. Here in AK we are SUPER lucky. Our water is fresh, clean, and delicious! I guess glaciers are good for something after all!

Tap, good enough for me so it's good enough for them! We have clean water up here anyways.

I used to drink the tap water where I am in London KY, but when my father in law fixed his blocked up sink by pulling a large piece of crystallized chlorine, I either filter it or get bottled at the store. I don't take a chance on hurting the furs with that after seeing that stuff-and I don't want that chlorine in me either!

I use plain tap water We generally have really good quality water in the city, so I don't see any real problems. Just steer clear of distilled water. That can leech minerals from the body over time.

Katt our water comes from the Biscayne Aquifer. South Florida is full of underground fresh water caves. On the west coast and further north there are clear freshwater springs. You can see straight to the bottom. Miami stands on a bedrock of coral (called "Miami limestone") it acts as a natural filter. I can see prehistoric fish and other fossils right in my backyard bc when they made the canals in the 50's they exposed the coral. It's really cool. from my backyard I can see all the coral on the canal especially when water levels are low. The canals are brackish water but the water from our well comes from the aquifer. We use the municipal water to drink, etc. but I have used the wellwater for the swimming pool and it is very clean. I took a sample of it to have it tested and they were surprised that it was well water.

Which reminds me this week I have seen 3 manatees in our backyard and I haven't been able to take a pic! Every time they are out there I don't have my cell phone. Those things can swim pretty fast too. I am determined to get a picture of Mr. Manatee and I'll post them here. We saw 2 babies last month.
