How is Cooper and Reska's weight doing? No matter how I phrase that sentence, it looks funny. Time to check my grammar book. Your last weigh in was almost two weeks ago and you worried that Reska had lost a few ounces.

I'll have to get their weights again. They both look like they're about the same and they've been eating pretty well.

Reska's weight is down about 40 grams from a couple weeks ago and Copper's remains stable at being 10 grams up. Reska's appetite and energy seem good, so I don't have any concerns. She was on the heavy side in the dead of Winter, but it was colder then and their meal plan has more bone in and larger chunks so they must be stabilizing at their ideal weights.

Forgot to mention they cleaned their plate of yesterday's breakfast. They ate half or so of their turkey neck dinner. For breakfast today they got quail.

Okay, about 1.4 ounces for Reska. That seems like what you said. They've settled down into their spring/summer weight.
Yeah for turkey necks! They are doing great.

They ate almost all of yesterday's quail breakfast. For dinner they got chicken wing. They also got their nails done which Reska certainly isn't a fan of. Copper is really passive and mostly just stays pretty still while he's scruffed. Reska did like the salmon oil treat afterward, but Copper forgot he liked the oil until I held him and offered it.

They ate most of Friday's dinner, most of Saturday's lunch (organ combo) and all but one sliver of Saturday's dinner (quail). For lunch today they got egg and turkey muscle.

Yesterday was their gotcha day. I'd stopped by the pet store to get them more toys to stash and a really soft crate pad to put in a box in case they want to sleep on it (they haven't seemed interested in it yet).
They ate most of their egg/turkey lunch and for late dinner they got a big plate of chicken wing. They didn't quite eat half of it by morning, but they'd had it for only about 8 hours so that's not very concerning. For breakfast today they got ground beef and ground pork (mostly beef) with one nugget of turkey FDR.

Happy Gotcha Day to Cooper and Reska. You should take a photo of them with their Gotcha presents for the June photo contest.

They ate all the quail except for a couple bone fragments. For breakfast they got pork kidney and chicken hearts.
I put some shipping paper in their pen because they likely noisy things. Lately they've liked to drag some of it into their cuddle cup bed and sleep in it.

They ate all of their breakfast except a few slivers they pushed off the plate. For dinner they got turkey neck. This is the last of the necks, their next turkey meal will be turkey back again.
