It's really stressed my room mate out, that's for sure. They ate half or so of dinner. For breakfast they got about half and half ground beef and ground pork, with one nugget each of turkey and duck FDRs.

They ate nearly all of yesterday's breakfast, despite the ground beef. Having the two extra flavors in the broth probably doesn't hurt. For dinner they got quail and ate probably half of it. For breakfast this morning they got pork kidney, pork lung and chicken hearts. I think this is the last of the lung that I have, just kidney for their organ variety (besides liver of course) for now.
I set up the portable AC unit in their room last night, and not a day too soon since it's getting hot around here. It took a while to fight with getting the window adapter to fit well enough, but I think it'll do fine. I may study it a bit and re-fit the adapter again if I find a better way to do it. For the Summer I'll probably just turn it on when I leave in the morning so their room stays around 70 degrees.

They ate almost all of Tuesday's breakfast. I had to work late so their dinner was a little late. They got turkey back in warm water and they both tackled it simultaneously. The AC unit seems to be doing well so far, their room stayed around 72 degrees even though other rooms upstairs were closer to 80. I shut it off late this evening so they can have more peace and quiet for sleeping.
I also finally got around to portioning more pork kidney (13 weeks' worth) and ground lamb (8 weeks' worth). I think I'm going to need to order more deli containers. When I do tons of food prep I run out quickly and I need to prep more turkey bone-in later this week.

72 should be comfortable for them. We lived in Florida for most of Ponce's life. On the water and it never got cold. We had sliding glass windows and it was hard to get the AC lower than in the eighties. He never seemed to have a problem with the heat, but he was more active in the winter (where it was around the seventies). He would wander into the dark part of my closet where I had a summer bed set up.
You are set up nicely for kidney and lamb. Don't you just love the Prep work? I usually have five helpers, who get little bites of each thing.
For breakfast this morning, mine had pork brains and liver with an egg mixed into it. It's almost all gone. Hooray!

Their dinner last night was a huge plate of turkey and they ate half of it by morning. For breakfast they got quail. I checked on them before I left for work to make sure the AC was going (and it was) and Copper was having a bite to eat. Sometimes he'll eat first and sometimes Reska will eat first, but they usually don't eat simultaneously unless they're pretty hungry like last night.

Dinner was a bit late, but they had eaten nearly all of their breakfast. Copper seems to like pulling the water dish up to the plate and spilling it on food to freshen it up if it's not time for next meal yet.

They ate almost all of last night's winner winner chicken dinner. For breakfast they got their scheduled beef heart and chicken liver, with a nugget of turkey FDR.

They ate a bit over half of yesterday's breakfast. For dinner they got one third of a quail. I keep experimenting with the amount for this since it's their most expensive meal and it seemed to be about right, they ate all of that except for one or two slivers by breakfast time. Copper's a silly guy, he was dancing around when I brought their dinner in.
For breakfast they got a nice large portion of ground pork and ground lamb (around 2 ounces of each) with a little warm water at the bottom the way they like it.
They have a box with a soft towel folded up in it and another towel on the outside that is tucked under the bottom so they can climb it. They both like to climb up there to visit or to play king of the mountain. Sometimes Copper jumps onto and off of it, so it's a good way for them to play and exercise. Reska is looking slim for Summer, but still is eating well so it looks like their permanent diet is doing well for them both.
I replaced the analog thermometer in the fridge compartment with a digital one since I expected it was consistently wrong and I find that it was underestimating the temperature by up to 5 degrees. The digital ones seem to work much better and will even track high/low temps so I'll just use those in both the fridge and freezer compartments from now on.
The AC unit is still working well and I imagine they're used to the extra bit of noise it creates by now. They were probably already desensitized to white noise since they've had the air purifier in their room for quite a long time now.

You've been on the HFF for almost a year now. The three of you have come along way.
I love hearing about Cooper and Reska's playtime. It's also great how well they eat now. Reska is probably wearing summer weight, but you know how to check. You should be able to feel ribs and not see them. There should be no waistline.
That's a good idea with the digital thermometer, I'll have to look into it. :wave3:

They ate half or so of the gizzards. For early dinner they got organ mix (2xheart, 1xliver, 1xkidney) but weren't hungry enough to eat too much of it. For a super late second dinner (since their meal scheduling had been out of whack so far this weekend) they got quail.

They'd eaten all of the quail except for a couple small pieces. For lunch they got turkey muscle and chicken egg and ate most of that. For dinner tonight they got chicken wing.
