I'm going to leave Axel on kibble until I get Jesse out of the soup stage. I have not been using other proteins besides chicken so far because i bought chicken legs in bulk and want to use them up. the only think i do to get Jesse to eat his soup is I heat it up a little bit and soak a few pieces of kibble and smash it and blend it throughout the soup. I have answered all the questions you have asked and I'm not sure what posts you are referring to. I have just started a new second job and now that I am in the routine I will be updating more, I am sorry. My frustration is that I have to put kibble in his food or he wont eat it at all, i've even tried putting oil in it, which he loves to try to entice him but it doesnt work. He eats chunks of chicken, liver and gizzard, but only when it is in the soup along with kibble.

I can only recommend to switch Axel in the same time than Jesse, Axel is younger and he might be easier to convince to eat raw and with a bit of luck Jesse will observe him and do the same I can only give recommendations to lower frustrations and make this switch as comfortable as a switch can be, so please even if you bought chicken tighs in a bulk and you want to use them, try a different protein! If you eat meat this can't be difficult, just cut a small piece off the meat you prepare for yourself (it still has to meet the raw requirements: unenhanced pure raw meat) and check if there is something Jesse or Axel like? Ferrets imprind strongly on food, it will take a while to replace those imprints! Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

He's been eating better lately. He eats huge chunks! Almost as big as my thumbnail. Nothing is really changing besides the fact that Jesse is eating bigger chunks. His weight is also the same. Is the next step adding bone? And I buy some turkey today and see how he likes it.

Is he eating the chunks as long as they are covered with soup or also chunks alone? How went the turkey? Yes if you like you can try and add pieces with bone and see if he already tries to chunch bone Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

The turkey went well, he hate it fine! He will only eat chucks if they are covered in the soup. Also what I have to do to try and get him to eat is heat it up for five seconds, make it watery and every once in a while feed him with a spoon. I will pick up some wings to try with tips tomorrow.

That doesn't sound bad at all, hang in there and continue!
And as I worte before sometimes it helps to switch both ferrets in the same time, a little bit of competition might do miracles ;D
Uhhh, curious how the chicken wing will go, sometimes they take to it instantly because they love to chew, and sometimes you just get a death stare for the attempt, so fingers crossed!
