The girls were "helping" me clean their cage this morning, and Willow found a piece of stash Suki of course immediately got on the other end of said stash, both tugging and hissing for all they were worth. Now, they are pretty evenly matched for size, strength, and determination, so it was a tossup as to who would actually win it. Then Willow balanced herself on her chest without letting go of the meat, took both front paws, very deliberately placed them on either side of Suki's face, and scratched Suki from her cheeks to her nose with her claws! Needless to say, Willow won, Suki is fine(I checked her right afterwards). I had NO idea they could/would fight "dirty" ;D With the others, it was always tugging, hissing, and gator rolling to win. I've never before seen that sort of behaviour!

Oh, she really did. As soon as Suki let go, she ran off, hid, and ate it

Does that ever sound familiar ;D I've seen Lady "B" actually jump on top of Thor or Odin and pound their heads off the floor until they let go of the prize (usually a mouse of a "gibby"). She's big enough that she can get away with that type of behaviour. I watched Lady Natasha ("B"'s doppleganger) bite the base of her opponents tail and then stealing the prize as they whip around to bite her. She's really fast. What I really want to know is how both girls can scream at the top of their lungs and not loose their prize?? ciao

Oh those are too funny ;D Willow still doesn't hold a candle to Lady "B" ;D But then- she's too tiny to pull THAT particular stunt off!

Lady Natasha doesn't even weigh a pound...she's as small (marshals)as Lady "B" is large but the attitude and the colour is the same....pure nastiness ciao

Wondering if the fact Willow is also a DEW has something to do with it? In fact- so's Lucrezia, our Lady "B" ;D

I don't like to say it but a lot of my most difficult fuzzes, biting and strong personality wise have been DEWs. If I'm going to choose a white ferret, I will choose an Albino over a DEW. I wouldn't give any of my DEWs away (strangle them sometimes but I love them anyway) but Odin is such a sweet fuzz and even though I managed to get through to Porthos (DEW), he had a nasty streak that he exercised regularly ciao
