I'm experimenting with making my own chicken treats for the ferrets, and so far I've been unsuccessful in finding anything that they like. They love the ones that are made in China, but I don't want to be giving them anything made in China. I've found some jerky treats that are made of various other meats, but only one of my four likes any of those. So, I'm trying a new recipe (it's in the dehydrator right now), but wanted to check with the forum before actually trying it on them. So here's my recipe:
2-1/2 packages of Knox Unflavored Gelatin 4 Oz of Low Sodium Chicken Broth (Ingredients: Chicken Broth*, Chicken Flavor*, Cane Sugar*, Yeast Extract, Onion Powder*, Rosemary Extract* (*Organic))
I see that in the Marshall's Bandits Treats, they also have Rosemary Extract as the last ingredient, and even though I know that these treats aren't particularly healthy for the babies, I'm hoping that it means that in small quantities, it's not that bad for them either.
Any thoughts?

I think I've already answered your question on the FB page with links and information in regards to your ingredients. You don't need all the additives, you only need the chicken or any meats for that matter. The easiest is often the simplest, it's the KISS method of feeding ciao

No yeast. No sugar. No rosemary. No onion powder. No "low sodium"

Yeah, make your own stock. It's the only way that stock is good for them.
