Hi I was pointed to this board in help to learning one on one to switch my 8 week old girl ferret to Raw. I tried reg & it says my e-mail invalid? I am a new ferret owner & having a over load on reading so much on raw that I confused myself even more & feel really silly & dumb that I couldn't even get how to do the first step on switching. Thank you for your time!

Hi Erika and Welcome to the HFF (wave) Your email may have gone in as spam. Sherry usually approves newcomers requests. I'll keep an eye out for you and send Sherry a PM, if she doesn't see this soon. Once you are approved, after 15 posts, you can sign up for a mentor who will help walk you thru the switch. How many ferrets do you have? What are their names and how old are they? Take a look at some of the switching threads, you can't post to them because they are between a mentor and the forum member, but they will give you an idea as to how the process works.

Thank you! My lil girl is called Jezabel & she is 8 weeks old. She is my first ferret, I been reading & reading a lot if the archives. She just started to eat stage 1 baby food last night (just meat, I read the labels to make sure)

Awww...a baby, Jezebel must be adorable. At eight weeks, she will be easy to switch to raw. When my Mika was a baby, I would put a chicken wing in with her at night. You can try this, it helps when they are teething. Just don't offer raw and kibble at the same time, she may get an upset tummy. I'm still watching to see that you get approved. If you aren't approved by this afternoon, I will check with Sherry.

HI Sherry i was able to reg this morning. my screen name is burros4me
I'm super excited because she ate baby food with ground hamburger yesterday and wow her behavior and everything changed. She a Marshall bred ferret, she was soooo grumpy and mean on kibble. i could barely hold her, because she bite and hold on. and yes she has drawn blood. But after eatting a tablespoon of hamburger and baby food..she was content and happy and a love bug. she licked and played and we could hold her and she didn't try to bite. So i am 100% sold on getting her completely on raw. i went and got her a game hen yesterday (its thawing) so once i am a approve, i will do a intro post etc :-) thank you so much!
