Riley has been fine all day until about 20 minutes before we put her up for the night. She started sneezing once every 5 minutes. Like 3 sneezes in a row every 5 minutes. Now in the cage she's sneezing more often. I'm keeping an eye on her, but she seems fine except for the sneezes.
Does it sound normal, or like a could or something? Not too worried, just wondering if there are certain signs I should look for.

my ferrets always do that when they hit their nose against something. did you recently switch detergents or fabric softener? or maybe you cleaned her cage with something different?

We've been using the same stuff, same food, nothing new at all in their cage or in our house that I'm aware of. It's keeping her awake Poor girl. It's been about 64 Fahrenheit all day, but I didn't think that would be too cold for them. Though our power did go out today while both of us were gone, so I don't know how long it was out. The coldest it could have been in here would be 58ish though.

Have they been rummaging around in the dust bunnies?

No. And after observing more she started to gag or hack or something. she didn't throw up but she definitely was trying to. Then Jeff started cleaning the litter and found a large glob of green foam... Does this sound like ECE? It does to us, but we're also the worried ferrants, so you tell me. Could anything else cause gagging, sneezing, and green foamy poop? What should I do?

...It looks like the blockage one, except green.
She's gone poop 3 times in 45minutes, except the first time we didnt see it, we just saw her go (during cleaning we found a small-ish size green foam). Then only about 10 minutes later, she tried again and got a small bit of diarrhea, then about 15 minutes later she went again with more diarrhea.
I gave her about a teaspoon of Ferret Lax. And she did eat some kibble before the second poop (not much, but some). And after the third poop she was drinking water.
She got into the Degu's Timothy Hay and was inside the bag awhile before we noticed...

I would give a bit of pumpkin and lax and watch her stools. If she starts refusing to eat or stops pooping, they could be a blockage.

If she ate the hay, she could indeed have a blockage, that stuff will not go through properly. I would start lax and pumpkin. That would also stand to reason why the poops were green. ciao

Well, after about 2 hours of the sneezing/gagging, she settled down. Her poops are now just runny, but normal color. She seems to be doing well. I haven't seen any hay or green poop since last night though. I'll assume that's what happened and the ferret lax and pumpkin helped. I'll keep an eye on her still, but I think she's better. Man, that was a scary night! Thank you all so much!

So glad she's feeling better, but I still think I'd keep doing the pumpkin for a few days, just to be sure

Sherry, I am. She was sneezing a few times today, and I haven't seen her eat. She is still full of energy and I have seen her drinking lots of water. I'll keep my eye on her.

Beware....ferrets like all carnivores are masters at hiding their illnesses and injuries. By the time we find out for sure they're in crisis. So, if you've not seen her eat...force the issue with some soupy. A ferret who's been hiding their illness will crash and crash hard....usually on a weekend...this is a long weekend ciao

I'll have to get a syringe, any idea where we can get some? Until then I'll continue with finger feeding. I gave her a bit of duck soup, though she didn't like it. She will take treats however, so at least she's not refusing to eat everything. I'm keeping up with the lax, hopefully she just needs to pass a hairball.
