I have a problem reading anything in the rainbow bridge thread. I'm one of those hard type people that refuses to cry in front of people for any reason and it makes me cry to read pages on there. Ever since I was young I would only ever cry over animals(and Chris now that I'm with him) I was taught by my mom that since men think women are weak that they think we cry over everything. I've always been determined to show it wasn't true and therefore would not cry in front of anyone. If one of my babies died then I would hold it in until I was alone. The problem now is that I have to be at Chris' parents to use the Internet and they are always right here. I want to be able to read these type of things and pay my respects. Does anyone else have a problem with crying when reading those sad stories?
I don't even know if this is making sense right now but oh well. I tend to have a problem making sense sometimes. Feel free to move this to a more appropriate thread.

There's nothing wrong with tears; it just means that your heart is big enough to share them with other people or animals, or just the things that matter.

I do cry over them, but I don't think tears are weak. It only shows that you have a soul that aches for someone/something. I don't think that this is a bad thing.

Why do you think I don't read the greetings from the FML anymore And there is nothing wrong with honest tears. It may sound horrible, but when someone's other pet passes(dog, cat, etc), I can honestly express my grief at them losing their friend. It's a horrible thing, after all. But when I read about a fuzz dying? I'm in tears every time

I was the same way, but i cry whenever i read about a fuzz being sick or that has passed. I think crying is a form of intense emotion, and very freeing. Theres nothing i can see wrong with it, not anymore.
