Hi, I was wondering how useful this would be and if any one would be interested in volunteering to attempt to use once I'm done. A warm-able rice filled plush shaped like a laying stretched out ferret with a removable heartbeat as well as a nursing sack.
Right now I'm working on a slide able-plate of nipples as I could not figure out any other way to make nipples other than a solid plate that will protrude out of the stuffy. These plates if efficient will be sold separately as well as well as one use nursing sacks in quantity. I'm not certain if the bag will be one unit, or if there will be one nursing pack per nipple.
I've never bred ferrets, so I honestly don't know how useful this would be to breeders here. Also if there are any considerations I'm over looking that are blatant please let me know.

Saving a kit under 3 weeks old is difficult from what I understand, but can be done. After that age most would be weaned to a dish if an adoptive Jill could not be found(again- don't breed, just reading).so anything would need to be aimed at a tiny kit I'd think.

Good to keep in mind. Of course this plush won't stimulate their butts for them, but I was hoping it will make the task of hand feeding easier. That is good to know though for nipple scale as well as the amount of applied force to make the bag dispense. Thank you very much for your input!

Why not message crazylady about this? She could definitely give you some really good info you may need given she's been involved in breeding since she was young

Hi Dimensions have to be 100 percent the heart beat is a good idea the only problem is the breeder would have to be on hand at ever feed because its always feed stimulate pee poop ( and many would question why pay for something when the result is the same ?) plus you need to know how much each kit has taken with kits in the nest they easily fall from nipples mum nudges them back into place ensuring they get a good supply of milk your ferret with heart beat maybe a good aid for calming kits and keeping them warm between feeds give me a pm if you wish to talk about this more take care bye for now Bev
