Hey all,
It's been forever since I've been here. I apologize for that! I have been dealing with the relationship issues as you know and now I am at my parents' house for the time being. They have graciously decided to care for my girl when I move out into an apartment (since I could find NONE that accepted ferrets) and I am trying to school them. The weather is warming up here and I had an idea to build a ferret enclosure outside for the little fuzzbutt to play in. Because of this I figured feeding her some whole prey (live/frozen) would be smart. Raw in the winter time, whole prey during warm months. So, now my question. How to progress and start? She has passed the imprinting part of her food so how should I progress? Any help is appreciated for both the ferret enclosure (plans, layouts, etc...) AND most important where to start her on live/frozen whole prey eating.
Ben

I just added a couple of little fuzzy mice, chopped in half to the soupy for Minion. He pulls them out first and drags them off and eats them. I'm going to try just mice chopped in half tonight. ciao
