My little bug has green poop. It's slimy, and very sticky. I looked up what it could be and read all about ECE. I'm worried, what should I do? I can't afford to take him to the vet right now.

If he has ECE you can't afford not to. It sounds horrible but so is the disease. I've seen healthy ferrets who've crashed and walked a fine line between the bridge and the living with this horrible disease. This can occur within hours at best you've got a few days. ECE, if that's what it is, to be treated must be diagnosed by a vet. It's not something we can diagnose on line. Dehydration is the key factor and this can happen very quickly. Refusal to eat or drink becomes a major issue. ciao

He's eating and drinking perfectly fine, hasn't thrown up, and is acting completely normal (even though apparently ferrets with ECE can act normal). He's jumping around and still loving his food. I don't want to have to drive all the way to Nevada if he just chewed on too much rubber. (I live in California)

He's chewed rubber?? You didn't mention that. That is a possible blockage (that by the way is also a vet appointment). If you suspect that, then a tbsp of pumpkin alternating with a tsp of vaseline every hour until you get a gloppy orange poop (the pumpkin). Too much rubber is an emergency run. We're just dealing with a ferret on the FB page that has eaten too much rubber...she's presently getting a barium with possible surgery. It appears that your little one is obviously too healthy for ECE, and may possibly have an upset stomach. Perhaps, a bit more information would be beneficial when you ask for help ciao

He has two rubber toys that I got from petco. One is a rubber ball with rubber sticking out everywhere making it a soft fuzzy feel (they are thick) and a rubber elephant. He likes to chew on these two, and I noticed quite a bit of pieces missing but I didn't think of anything, since I got him at a petco and in his cage WERE those two toys. Should I keep an eye on him for a day or two and see if anything changes, and if he stops eating, vomits, or continues to have green poop take him to the vet? But if all clears, not to be worried?

""""UPDATE"""" I just hardcore went through his poop and found a lot of rubber pellets which are green. His ball is blue, but I'm thinking it's green due to the poop. I threw out his rubber ball, hopefully that's it and he'll be fine. :3

Give him the pumpkin/vaseline course regardless. Because odds are without it, he won't be alright.
