Two awesome ferret vets in BC: My vet: Cambie Animal Hospital Vancouver, BC 604-321-6600 cambievet.com/Vet known for ferrets, haven't been personally but know several people who have brought ferrets there and had good experiences: Eagle Ridge Animal Hospital Coquitlam, BC 604-464-3343 eranimalhospital.com/I seriously can't say enough good things about Cambie Animal Hospital. Not only do they provide great ferret care, but they are so compassionate and considerate. When Truffy passed, they phoned us a few times just to see how we were doing, and offered lots of support.

Great vet for New Jersey.
Park Veterinary Clinic 1015 Raritan Ave, Highland Park NJ (732)-819-8299 Dr. Lyndon Goldsmith
The clinic is run by a middle-aged couple. Dr & Mrs Goldsmith are the vet & receptionist respectively, and genuinely care about their patients. They're wonderful.
I also have a vet I would NOT recommend to any ferret owner. Please message if you are considering a vet in the central NJ area.

Hi there, we are moving to Ottawa (ON Canada) shortly and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good ferret vet (preferably open to raw) there? I'm hoping to (finally!) be able to adopt (or maybe foster, not sure about that yet) ferrets once we're settled in Ottawa. it's going to be a while before we're ready but still, exciting! ~K

As I'm sure there are other ferret owners in California that are looking at this forum and even this thread, here's an emergency animal hospital in Berkeley, California that will look at ferrets. Their small animal/exotic specialist is Dr. Siperstein, and she's incredible. She also does ferret dental work. Dr. Siperstein www.berkeleydogandcat.com/Address: 2126 Haste St, Berkeley, CA 94704 Phone: (510) 848-5041 Fair warning that they are EXPENSIVE because they are a 24 hour emergency hospital, but Dr. Sip is worth every penny. You can also set up payment plans. I can also verify that the animal hospital in Castro Valley, CA already listed is also very good and will give discounts to California ferret owners who have signed the legalization petition.
