Completely pointless story: Sonny has some very strange habits. I give him a raw mush soupies every night. I leave out freeze dried during the day and he usually stashes little chunks if freeze dried everwhere. Sometimes (like tonight) I put his soupies down, he runs up to it, smells it, maybe takes a few licks, then he'll run off to a hidey hole and grabs a chunk of the freeze dried raw that he stashed earlier. Then he'll bring the chunk over to his soup bowl and he drops it into the soup! But he doesn't eat it. He slurps up all the soup and at the end there is just a lonely chunk of freeze dried in his soup bowl. what a strange animal!! I think he has OCD.

@taratee I think he's just weird. He's done this about 7 x already and not consistently. Maybe he thinks "hmmm the soup is alright mommy but it could use a little duck duck goose. Hold on I think I have some behind your dresser -i'll go get it and just throw it in.....there! Now its perfect! bon appetit!"

These animals tend to have odd behavior. I think they all have their quirks. I swear in the past 2 of my ferrets had OCD. One of them had to have his stuffed animals lined up around his bed and if you moved one he'd put it right back the way it was. I swear I think he purposely made them stand up upright and facing his bed. Lemmy had this stuffed animal cat and she had to stand in the corner of the office (standing on all fours and upright) and she had to face the wall (as if he were punishing her). He worked hard to get her in just the right position. if you moved her he'd freak and went on a mission to get her back in that corner and in the right position. It was bizarre and he only did that with this one stuffed animal. I wonder what goes on in their little minds.

That sounds too cute! Trixie has a one track mind when it comes to socks. If she comes near one, its gone! I wonder what they're thinking when they stash things
