Brought Pip back for a recheck and all the rest of the ferrets in for exams and blood glucose tests, Craven got his des implant which he took very well, Pandora they couldn't get any blood from, she is way too fiesty but everyone else's BG is within normal range so that is awesome. No insulinoma in my oldies so far and nothing else funky found so happy there. Was another long trip though. I might not be on here a ton for awhile, my computer monitor died today(great timing there! ) and I'm not a huge fan of the laptop.

Glad your kids came out with a good checkup! Horrible about the monitor, though!

Jackie, no they've only been on raw a couple months, good kibble for years before that but 3 out of my 4 also spent a couple years eating crap food so it's a worry of mine, plus they are all getting up there in years. Koda and Craven were both about 120, and Pip was 140. Good numbers! I guess Pandora peed all over them when they tried to get blood from her so they decided it was not happening. She was not a happy camper, she doesn't really like strangers or being handled.

Lol, yeah this was the first year I've tried to get a glucose on her since she's the youngest, they had commented on how the others were all nice and not too bad about giving blood, they took her back to get blood and I kind of thought to myself this probably wasn't going to go well, sure enough, no go. She wasn't real willing during the exam either. She's my little monster.

Craven is probably 6-7, Koda is 5-6, Pip is 4-5, and Pandora is 4.5, guessing on all but Pandora by looking at their teeth. I've had the first two for 3 years now, my friend had them a year or so before that and got them off someone else, Pip we've had two years and he was bought from a pet store a few years before that. Pandora we bought.
