This was a problem I suffered with my old boys and I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for keeping carpet nice while still allowing my ferts to enjoy the space. I live in an apartment and while I am extremely lucky that they allow ferrets, I would prefer not to have to replace all the carpet. I am mostly concerned about the corner ( newspaper is not enough to keep the carpet dry and fresh, and the carpet underneath a door ( as not all rooms are available for their entertainment. Any ideas?

we have a sheet of cheap linoleum where they like to dig and poop disregard the drama queen but you can see we taped it to the wall and the ground and anchored it under something heavy other people use those plastic things that go under office chairs, i know katt has two rugs she has duct-taped down so they cant get to the carpet

Oh wow the linoleum is a wonderful idea!! I never thought about using the plastic for office chairs... so just a little bit of duct tape and something heavy. I love the idea of being able to add a dig box as well!!
