hey there as of today ive noticed my ferrets poop is black?? i fed them raw liver this morning and raw duck leg last night, could it be this??
please help! :(

My ferrets always have black poop on organ day. (liver/kidney)

Any meat that is heavy with blood might cause dark, black tarry stools. This is often seen when organ meals are fed and when you feed mice and rats. Feed a couple of boned meats and you will find this should stop with their next meal. If this doesn't stop and you're seeing this more often and your little one is gagging, pawing at their mouth or grinding their teeth then you're probably dealing with something more serious such as ulcers ciao
