I have a few bags already prepped that work up to have an even amount of pork chicken beef and turkey. When those are all gone, guessing around early next week I will start separating them! I'll put the pictures up of the bone pieces this weekend as well and I honestly haven't even called anywhere for chicken necks. I'll also take the hen out to defrost as well. I'm done school after Friday completely so I'll be able to go even harder core with this I actually can't wait to be able to relax and have a whole lazy/play day with them. It's been so long since I could just not do anything but play!! If I can't find chicken necks at any random store I have a feeling I will be able to just order them at the butcher I ordered the hearts at

Awesome sounds like a plan good luck on the rest of your exams! And don't worry about updating me until the weekend now when you have a chance to relax and then worry about raw Your butcher should definitely be able to sell you chicken necks, though they are also common at grocery stores and at pet food stores that have large frozen raw selections

I'm going to be organizing baggies with the separate am and pm sort of deal. I'm going to see how much they eat about of the chunks I already prepped and sort of base the amount in each bag on that. I've found a place that carry chicken necks I'm going to try and get some today or tomorrow I'm also going to take the hen out of the freezer either tonight or tomorrow and get on chopping that up. Ill also post pictures either tonight or tomorrow of the wing tips. They are just in the freezer at the moment And exams went good! All graduated and stuff haha so weird!

Looks good, I would cut it into small pieces though and cut it so that the meat is hanging off of it a bit on the side and smash the bone a little bit. Same with the chicken necks and the hen bones. Cut them even tinier pieces of bone with meat hanging off and smash the bones a little bit with a hammer to expose the bone marrow. You will have to a start pretty small with the pieces of bone at first. I'm going to be pretty busy the next three days with Christmas family plans so I will check back in on the weekend

I had a some of the pre mixed chunks left so they should be done with those tonight/tomorrow morning. The necks are defrosting I've noticed a small bump on stitch's tail so I'll be making a vet appointment as well tomorrow. It looks like the start of chordoma but that's just me googling so who knows. I hope it's nothing. Also Stitch has been having some seedy poops. They are both playful and normal everything else. Molly weighs 810 and stitch is at 1100-1265 I wish he was a heavier sleeper!

Sounds good let me know how the necks go!
Oh no, hopefully the bump is just a little skin tag or pimple and not a chordoma but definitely best to get it checked out early so if it needs to be removed it can be!
Seedy poop is undigested fats and can be caused by a number of things. Could you post your menu for the past week? Including exactly what they are getting with each meal. That might help me narrow it down. How long has the seedy poop been happening now?

The seedy poop is gone now it just happened yesterday for a couple of poops. If it happens again I'll let you know. The vet appointment is tomorrow at 130. In the mix this last week was some turkey thigh, chicken, pork, turkey breast, chicken heart, beef heart, beef liver, beef kidney. They will be starting the weekly plan this next week. Today and tomorrow I'm going to try and do the two days of just the neck to get them to eat bone.

Don't worry about the poop at all then. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a sensitivity reaction to one of the proteins but since it's gone away, it was probably just one of those things. Perfect, if you can smash the neck bones up into nice tiny pieces you will find that they take to the bone much better.

The bone was smashed up. I've put some egg in it now just to tempt them a bit more. If that doesn't work, I should have some soup defrosted by bed time

So this is the plan so far, I hope its alright. Monday AM- Chicken Monday PM- Pork Tuesday AM- Beef Tuesday PM Turkey thigh Wednesday AM- Organ meal, liver and kidney Wednesday PM- Heart, beef and chicken Thursday AM- Turkey breast Thursday PM- Heart and Organ Friday AM- Any left overs? (Can I do this?) Friday PM- Chicken Saturday AM- Pork Saturday PM- Turkey thigh Sunday AM- Beef Sunday PM- Turkey breast
Is doing the left over thing on the friday Am okay till I figure out how much they will somewhat eat every 12 hours? Also should I look at finding a second muscle meat source or wait since once they start eating the bone this will change again?
