Some of you may have read the water bowl trouble I had with a coop cup that I had because my local pet store didn't have regular lock on crocks. Fiddler and Shiloh liked to tip it by putting their noses under and pushing it out. I finally got to go to a proper pet store and get an actual lock on crock and it has been awesome. BUT Fiddler has figured out how to twist the bottom until it's lined up and push the 'lock' out of the bottom stand. How the heck did he figure this out??? He's too smart for his own good-granted he does it a lot less because it's harder, but when he gets a wild hair to do it he goes for it. So, now that he's too smart, I had better be saving for his college fund. Here he is being very cute

Cute is an understatement! The only thing holding ferrets back from world domination is the lack of opposable thumbs; that, and itches!
I was playing with the girls (Willow, Miss Emily & Suki) today, and the ground raw was too far into the plate for Suki to reach without doing a face-plant. She reached in with her paw, as far as she could and hooked out some food and then tucked into it. Serviettes are next, for after dinner...

I have a few foraging toys, but I think they're too easy for him. I'll have to get him something harder to work with. He's really the only one with the patience for stuff like that. I know, Cliff. One day, if we continue to be so succeptible to their charms, they may just dominate the planet. The problem is, they're so cute, I don't know that I'd even mind! Your girls are so beatuiful and smart. That was very smart of Suki. Today, that rascal Fiddler was excited about his chicken liver lunch. So excited in fact, that he tried to take the whole bowl down the ladder of the FN. Of course, it spilled everywhere. And then, I was fighting four ferrets to get the livers back in the bowl on the proper level.

Liver -- personally, ugh! -- but I do wish that these rascals had somewhere along the same passion for organ meat that yours' has.

Oh, mine love it. It's like a special treat, or delecasy to them. They take after their momma though-they like just about everything. The only thing they don't love is ground turkey, but they eat it anyway. Just not with gusto.
