Missing Ferrets
On September 07, 2010, while I was at work, 11 of my 12 ferrets were taken from my Rockledge, FL home and brought to southern Alabama: Daphne, Spanish Fort, Irvington, Mobile. They were taken with malicious intent only to hurt me and I was informed they were sold, one was allegedly "accidentally" killed. I miss them dearly. Please email me at missingmy11ferrets@yahoo.com. Thank you for your care and compassion.
Please cross post.
(These are not my ferrets. Just helping someone out.)

This is what seriously scares me about getting an apartment. This is not the first time I have heard of ferrets being stolen. How can someone do that! Steal my T.V. and my computer, not my freaking ferrets! I can't imagine the feeling. I really hope she finds out who did it, and gets her ferrets back. It's highly unlikely though, since it's been so long already and they were probably sold to multiple people

This story I've been following on the ML...it's so sad, the soon to be ex-husband and his girlfriend took the fuzz and because pets are considered property and they were still married the police won't do anything about it...so very sad I pray that those furbabies find their way back to their Mom

He's also sold them As far as she knows, one is now deceased(thrown against something if I remember correctly). Another fellow has one, and has contacted her, but refuses to turn the ferret over to her, saying fuzz has bonded with him and his business. I don't believe they know where the others have gone.
