I'm sorry that you're having to deal with this. What is your wee one being treated with? I will light a healing candle for your wee one and hope that he manages to go into remission. Good luck ciao

he isnt being treated, it's really too big to do anything about. so he's hanging out at home being pampered and loved while he still can

That's really sad. An operation isn't an option at all?

not really, it's pushed his intestine backwards and you cant even distinguish on organ form another on the xrays. He also has fluid buildup and has lost quite a bit of weight.
but he keeps eating, keeps pooping, keeps playing when he's awake. runs around and bothers the cats still

They didn't suggest trying him on Prednisolone? My Chia has lymphoma and we put her on Pred to help slow the cancer and hopefully even shrink the tumors slightly. It will only work for a short amount of time, but it gives her a chance to stay with us longer and feel a bit better. I'm very sorry, cancer is cruel

I'm sorry I would definitely ask about Pred, it could help.

In addition I would also ask for some pain meds for when they are needed. That way you aren't stuck in the middle of the night with nothing to ease him. When we have a ferret, or any pet really, who is on a known limited time my vet will prescribe some prefilled syringes of buprenephrine. Signs of pain will be constant trembling(not just when waking up), squinting eyes, constant sleeping, refusing food.
