So yesterday and today have not gone as planned, ended up getting called in early, working late, dealing with @^$@%$ customers for crap wages and getting stuck late due to said customers, arrgggg. I was so ticked when I got home tonight, then b/f dead asleep on the couch and a sinkful of dishes, he did like the 4 LARGEST, most ridiculously un-needed dishes and apparently gave up after semi filling the rack, not the end of the world but really not what I wanted to come home to as I'm a bit of a neat freak and he's been slacking on dishes duty lately.
Did the dishes, fed the cat who's been screaming at me for dinner since I got home, went to check on and clean out the ferrets. Feathers EVERYWHERE! It was quail day, and lately keeping it in one place is not happening, there was a wing and feathers on the floor, in the tunnel (pandora), whole bunch of feathers in the dig box (Pip) I just changed it out with new shredded paper yesterday, then Pip hops in there, I thought to snack, no, to POOP! Nooooooo, run him to the litter pan, then stick him in and throw the lid on the aquarium dig box so I can clean boxes quick without him getting loose and me chasing him all over upstairs. Hit one litter pan, go to the other, by now Pandora's decided I need to be attacked and starts bouncing around and nipping, I was cleaning the other box and accidentally pinch her foot getting back up because she's all over the place. She squeaks, I apologize and make sure she's ok, set her down and now she's really pissed, climbing me like a ferret gozilla and leaping up my legs to inflict her teeth all over my hands she is revved! So I turned it into wrestling instead to get her crazy butt a workout and ended up bringing her out to the cat room to run around after that, man she is funny when she gets going. But anyways point being by the time I got back downstairs I couldn't help but be in a better mood and it makes no sense at all. They are so messy, frustrating, heartbreaking, but you just cannot resist forgiving all of it when they start bouncing around and being cute. Then I came and read on here and feel even better. I love them dang fuzzbutts and I really like this forum, don't know what I'd do without either of you!
