Hey Everyone, it's been about 3+ weeks on the raw chicken soup recipe. I'm still struggling with runny poo. I put all the right amounts in with the egg shell powder and pumpkin. They keep going back and forth. It will be ok for a couple days and then it will get bad for a couple days. It's been really bad the last 2 days, I don't understand.
I have been trying to put some tiny cut up pieces of chicken mixed into their soup to try and get them to start eating pieces. They eat them for the most part.
Is there anything I should try giving them to dry the poor little guys up? I feel horrible that they have the runs like this, it can't be good.

One of my girls had troubles on soup. I think it was just too much moisture for her. She was much better when I moved them to ground meats and then chunks. You could try ground meats to see if they are ready for that (or a ground meat / soup mix).

Thanks! So you just give ground chicken as it is, should I try turkey too? This is probably a dumb question, but does ground chicken have the organs or would I need to give that to them additional? Would you mix the eggshell powder into it? Thank you so much.

If you buy a pet grind from a raw feeding store, it will say if it has organs or not. If you buy ground chicken from the grocery store, it's just ground meat, no organ. You might want to try cutting the amount of organ back that you are giving as well. Some don't tolerate it as well as others. For now, cut it by half.
