Hi everyone
Soups are the only way to transition to raw... right? Just want to make sure I'm doing it right
So their new soups are the following:
7am/7pm soup: 1/8 pie of rad cat, carnivore care, a crumble of duck duck goose, a small dab of kibble mush and a chicken and chicken gravy baby food with warm water.
4 hr in-between soups: If they don't finish their rad cat, I use that and add more duck duck goose and carnivore care for flavor. I refrigerate what they don't munch on at 7am. I warm it up by letting a closed container float on hot water. If they finish their 12 hr soups, I make a duck duck goose/ kibble mush/carnivore care soup.
So far, tiny has taken a liking to the rad cat and some of the duck duck goose . Pinky on the other hand is slowly transitioning, He ate only half of his soup with the rad cat. Took him another 7 hours to completely finish it. But, I kept on him! Since he didn't finish his rad cat soupie, I used it 4 hours later. He ate most of it, left only a bit. 2 hrs later, I fed him again and he finished it. I made some of the 4 hr inbetween soup and offered it to him and he ate 3/4 of it after finishing his soup.
I was making the 4 hr soup so I can leave it overnight so they can eat. But the next 4 hrs is at 7am (med time), If anything I left the kibble out. Had to make more 4 hr soup, Fed tiny.. He licked the bowl clean. So proud of my little boy .
Tiny's been pretty good at the feedings. He eats all of it. I tried doing half a medallion of the duck duck goose and less kibble mush, he ate half. But... I've been feeding both every 4 hrs. Poops like fine. Half of me wants them on the kibble, but I know that the kibble isn't the best one (8-in-1 ultimate) or best for them.
I've noticed that Tiny's hind legs work better, but pinky's look like theyre weak. I hope he regains his strength. One gets better while the other one gets sick. If he's still the same, I'll make a vet appt to take a blood glucose.
