Well, I tried to join a few days ago but for whatever reason my account got denied so I guess I'll post my questions here.
First, I've noticed some people insist that when feeding model prey diets, you should only feed organ meat one day a week, whereas some people add a little bit of it to eat meal of every day. Is there a specific reason why organ meats should have their own day, like it's easier to digest or something? Or is it just a personal preference for ease?
My second question is... are there any companies that sell feeder mice in "variety packs"? I've noticed most sell packs of 50-100 of one age of mice, but I'd really enjoy having 50-100 mice of varying ages so I won't have to crowd my freezer with 5 packs of 50-100 mice lol
Thanks for reading! Hopefully once I get home from vacation I can finally get on a computer and figure out why I got denied... using these forum sites on my phone has been giving me a headache haha

Your request got denied because your IP address had 3 hits on a spam site We'd been having a major problem with them here prior to my checking with that. Resubmit with the same user name and I can approve it. As for your questions, the organ meats being fed depend on how you want to do it, and how your ferret reacts. Some have a reaction such as extremely loose stools in response to one full organ meal a week. Some simply refuse to eat it plain. I prefer giving it as a single meal because then I know everyone has some. However if you feed a grind it's easy enough to measure out a daily portion. As for a variety pack of ages, no idea. Write some of the companies and ask.
