Hi, I am new here and was just wondering if I could get a few pointers. I'm currently feeding a blend of ZuPreem ferret kibble and Blue Buffalo Evolutionary Formula Kitten kibble, but I'm really wanting to incorporate more meat into my kiddos' diets. Right now I have 2 males (Loki, just over a year old, and Odin, two) and one female (Skahdi, 3 months old.) The two youngest happily eat egg yolks and turkey baby food (human baby food, in a jar.) I introduced some beef liver that I had cut up and they licked on it, but they didn't actually eat any of it... however, they wanted to go play, so that may have had something to do with it On the flip side, my older boy, who we adopted at 18 months old, will not touch any of this. When you're first introducing raw meats, what are some tricks that can make it more appealing for picky eaters? I have read that pureeing or making sure it is cut up finely can help, but are there any more ways that I might get Odin to try new things? Thank you

There are a lot of different ways to introduce meat to their diet. I suggest that you read through some of the mentoring threads. You can't post to them but you can read through them. Any questions you have you can post here. I prefer to use a raw meat soupy to introduce raw foods to fuzzes who are 9 months or older. ciao

I use a soupie as well. As Heather mentioned, read through some of the switching threads for ideas as well as some of the pitfalls. You can apply for a mentor, or you can start your own thread in the Newbie Diet Questions board and we can all chime in

Thank you both! I will definitely go check out those threads. And a soupie sounds like a good idea, I will see how it goes over with Mr. Picky
