???Hello,i have just purchased digestive enzymes for my IBD ferret and they contain peppermint oil to soothe the stomach,could peppermint oil be harmful to ferrets?Is it toxic?they are saying thatPeppermint oil can result in upset stomach, central nervous system dysfunction and liver damage in cats.

Peppermint oil does horrible things to ferrets. Ferrets cannot metabolise this at all ciao

Why don't you throw it passed us first with the ingredients and we will help you find one. It will certainly save you a lot of money. Why don't you try some kefir? It's all natural, if you can get goat all the better but it's certainly better than a lot of the manufactured products out there. That's what I use ciao

I also use kefir. You can usually find it next to the milk or yogurt at the grocery store. Get the plain one. Or get Activia plain.
