Looks like he kept it down. He only ate one of the wing pieces and about half of the drumstick piece, I'm worried he's not eating enough cause he wants to wait me out. Booo.

That's great that he was able to keep the organ stuff down As for not eating enough, you could try giving the bones a good smash with a mallet. I also have found that cutting the food up helps encourage my girls to eat more. Are you covering the meat in anything? Pumpkin or some oil could also make dinner more appetizing.

I haven't been. He seems to be fine with CGH bones and with chicken ribs but I can start breaking up anything bigger.

That sounds like a plan. Anything weight bearing (legs, thighs) usually need a good whack. Which also exposes all that bone marrow to make it tasty

I'm not sure how he'll respond to this but tonight I'm trying him with a piece of back that's about 3in long by 4in wide...it's the biggest piece I've tried him with so far. He gave it a few licks earlier but didn't feel like putting effort in. I'll give him a bit.

He picked at it a bit but hasn't taken a lot off it yet. Now I'm looking at different ideas for feeding dens.

He seems willing to work at the larger pieces but he has trouble pulling bites off, so at the very least I'll pick up some hooks to secure the meat to the side of the cage.

Oh, one thing you could try is hang the raw from the top of the cage so it's hanging down. I don't know why but some really like this haha

When I got home he hadn't finished either of the portions, just been picking at them. So the hooks will definitely benefit him cause he'll (hopefully) be able to tear off bits a little easier. He carries his weight really strangely. He has a belly on him but his hip bones jut out when he's walking and it makes him look skinny from above...

Hm that sounds like Pixie after she eats soup. Big belly, but bony as h*ll. I think he'll fill out more once he is fully on raw

He isn't having anything but raw (other than occasional freeze-dried treats), do you just mean once he's better at eating bones?

Yeah sorry, I mean once he is better at eating the whole pieces

He isn't wanting to eat pork now. I don't THINK anything's wrong, cause he gulped down his liver and heart, his mouth looks fine, and his poops are normal, I think he's just being a brat.

Does he seem to prefer bone in meats vs just plain pieces?

That may be it, I'm not sure. I'll let you know if he's more enthusiastic about his chicken tomorrow.
