That chicken chunk must have been a fluke because he hasn't touched one since. I tried offering one by hand and he was like '...No.' And then I tried scruffing and stuffing and he was like 'AW H*LL NAW' and squirmed away. ;D So I will be using our less crappy food processor and starting from square one, it looks like.

My kids love the chicken skin. Took a while before they were interested in chucks of meat. I find that my crew prefer skinny pieces of meat, as opposed to cubes of it. In the beginning I would cut lots of super skinny pieces of meat, and scruff and stuff 3-4 times a day.

It was skin. About the size of a dime, maybe. Should I go through the soup I have (it all has chunks like that in it) or should I make a new batch with a better food processor and start from square one?

I would use up the stuff you have. Keep scruffing and stuffing some of the chunks. You can cover them in some oil or treat he likes.

I am so nervous about leaving him without kibble overnight. D: It's the first time. Should I have my mom remove his soup around 10 and I can give him new in the morning (around 7:30) or should I have her put new soup in so he has it overnight?

I would feed him some soup maybe three hours before you go to sleep. Then as late as you can (10), put a fresh bowl of soup in the cage and show him it's there.

I have to leave in like twenty minutes and I'm going to be gone at work until 7:30 tomorrow morning. I can go offer him some more soup now, then ask mom to take it out around ten (it will have been five hours since I took the soup out of the fridge) or get her to defrost another cube of it so he has something over night. I just don't want to put kibble back in.

I just spoonfed him and he ate everything but the skin--apparently I am dealing with a low-fat, health conscious ferret. ;D So he's had about 25g of food today, give or take whatever may have evaporated or been left on the spoon. Not bad. I will ask my mom to put another cube in the cage at ten. Thanks!

Just got home. It didn't *look* like he ate any of the soup my mom left him. I defrosted a new cube of soup and he ate three or so teaspoons off the spoon. He's perfectly okay with eating off the spoon but isn't so into the bowl. Left that soup in the cage for him. I was strong and didn't give him kibble though!

Checked on the soup again. Again, it didn't look like he ate any on his own, but he lapped some up out of the bowl while I was holding it. I will take the bowl out and give him a new cube (or half since he's not eating much) around 5 tonight. He had a green poop today, should I be concerned?

Green poop is normal during the switch. It means it passed through his system too fast.
When you're spoon feeding him, are you slowly lowering the spoon to the bowl? If not, try that.
I would also scruff and stuff chunks once a day to get him used to chewing meat. It can be difficult, but I found it was helpful getting my girls onto chunks.

I haven't been able to scruff and stuff yet. Every time I try to scruff him he squirms away. It's weird because I get the yawn reaction immediately if he nips too hard during play and I scruff him but if he's standing and I try scruffing he immediately jerks away. I will go defrost a cube and try again!
