Does anybody know a good, effect toothpaste that is ferret-free? Ramsey seems to be in need of some, haha. I've looked at the Marshall Dental Gel, is it worth it? Or are there other alternatives?

I use chicken necks and gibbies (gizzards). I've never used commercial. I've used fish oil and bonemeal or egg shell (finely ground). ciao

I've heard of some using something called Pet Oxygel successfully. I also just use bone in meats for teeth cleaning.

Had great luck with an enzymatic toothpaste by virbac. If you type that in amazon you can pull it up.

i agree with the virbac toothpaste! it's made for dogs and cats, but it's pretty much animal-friendly and you dont have to spend a lot of time really scrubbing his teeth because the enzymes go to work as soon as they're applied to the teeth and keep working to break up the leftover food particles and such and it's totally safe for them to swallow it (although I assume it isnt safe to give them a whole bunch!) and the chicken flavor is really attractive to them
