Mike- have you ever used Bach's rescue remedy for your ferrets? That's also homeopathic, and many of us KNOW it works So it's not all hocus pocus. Colloidal silver works. Probiotics and digestive enzymes all work. And they are all homeopathic. Chiropractic and massage therapies all work. Both homeopathic.
What they(AVMA) are pushing for is to prevent anyone but them treating our ferrets(and other pets), and only having them poked, prodded, etc for the vet's own pocket books, and nothing else.
Chiropractic and massage therapy are different disciplines, they aren't homeopathic. Is it possible you were thinking of "holistic" or "naturopathic" rather than "homeopathic"?
Homeopathic medicine is only one specific system out of many systems of alternative medicine and it doesn't encompass all of the things you listed.
According to Wikipedia, Rescue Remedy also isn't homeopathic:
Bach flower remedies are considered vibrational medicines, and rely on a concept of water memory. They are often labeled as homeopathic because they are extremely diluted in water, but are not true homeopathy as they do not follow other homeopathic precepts such as the law of similars or the belief that curative powers are enhanced by shaking and repeated diluting ("succussion").

In fact the following explanation is on Bach's website in the FAQ:
“There’s a lot of confusion between homeopathic remedies and the Bach system, but the two are very different. Homeopathic medicines can be repotentised by further dilution – so the process of energizing them never really stops. Maybe that is why they are so delicate. “With Bach the energizing process stops at the point that the mother tincture is finished. More dilution, succession etc. has no impact. The energy is fixed, which is maybe why Bach remedies are so much less fragile than homeopathic remedies, and why we can take them in tea, coffee, food etc. in ways that would make a homeopath turn pale!”
