This is one of my Loki's most favoritest treats. He gets one every once in a while, eats the leg part and then hides the foot in one of his houses until later. It's like duck foot jerky, the whole thing is crumbly so the bones don't splinter or anything.
Nutritionally, I have no idea. But it makes a great treat. Only negatives are A.) come on, they look gross lol and B.) supply is hit or miss according to our pet store so sometimes they cant get them in.

I wouldn't feed it to my fuzz personally. I typically avoid anything that is cooked. My kids love raw chicken feet though

1badmonkey - is that the same brand you get??
Jackie - as soon as I get set up with a mentor I will be feeding mostly raw - I just don't want to start to try to do it on my own and give them the wrong stuff or mess it up haha! Just didn't know if this might be an ok once-in-a-while thing.
Thank you both!

Yeah Bravo. I picked them out, or more correctly, Loki grabbed the first bag off the shelf and wouldn't give it up. I allow them as a treat because they are made in the USA, antibiotic and hormone free, with no preservatives or additives. I don't know about the 'dry roasted' process but the consistency is more like dehydrated. When Loki eats them the bones and toenails crumble like dry cake, they've never splintered or anything.
The nutrition info on my package is different than that website lists so here is mine for comparison: Crude protein: 43.2% minimum Crude fat: 34.8% minimum Crude fiber: 0.00% maximum Moisture: 0.00% maximum
We give them as a rare treat. This bag was bought in Aug/Sept for his birthday, it comes with 12 feet, and we still have 6 left. It takes him several weeks to completely eat one because he's always stashing parts of it in his house (we call it his pantry since he never sleeps in it, just puts his snacks there.) I'm sure all the healthy vits/minerals are gone since it is a cooked item, but since it's a rare treat I'm comfortable giving him one. That's just me tho, you'll have to decide for yourself.
