Is she eating anything else? Dry heaving bad....lately? Sounds like you need a trip to the vet. Some warm up their pumpkin and mix it with oil. ciao

I recommend heating the pumpkin up and thinning it into a glaze like consistency with either water or oil, I have a very picky eater and this is the only way she will touch her pumpkin.

We need more info. How long has this been happening, is she eating, any other illnesses, etc.

she is perfectly healthy just the dry heaving and she eats like any normal ferret just sounds like she has something stuck in her throat almost like a weeze its hard to explain

Okay, thanks It could well have been some fur stuck in her throat if all else is normal. Is she still doing it? If she is after this amount of time, I really think I'd be looking at a vet visit for it. Fur in the throat usually resolves within a few days. To get mine eating pumpkin, I add a bit of their favourite oil and warm it slightly.
