Thanks guys, the last one I had go under for surgery was 3 years ago and he never woke up was a different situation though but of course I'm still worried as h*ll my poor Baby!!!! Plus hes gathering Badgers litter so I am also concerned as to what it is and how it got there and if it is genetic as well because of course if its genetic I will need to terminate that line straight away! (Desex him... Just in case anyone was thinking I would put him down)

I saw it about a month ago and it was very small and took a photo and was keeping an eye on it! I went on holidays for 3 weeks and my head was elsewhere and I forgot about it, I was playing with him last night and of course he gave me a big fat yawn and I reit was still there... Even worse it had more than doubled in size (more like trebled from when I first saw it which would have been about 3 monthsk the ago!) I emailed my vet with pictures and he got back to my the next morning saying he needs surgery its either a tumour or tonsillar cyst!

great job getting those pics. I'm no vet, but it looks like it should be relatively simple. Best wishes.

I have noticed that my DEW's(what you call black eyed whites) do seem to have a lot more problems than others. I'm thinking it must be genetic to them, since they do appear to suffer from neural crest disorder MUCH more than other colours.
