I have a lot of other animals, rabbits, hedgehogs, a rat, baby buton quails, some lizards, axolotls.. and various other animals at any given time that I rescue and rehome. Here are some pics of my lil guys & girls This is my girl Lily Pad. That is her soon to be hubby Gunther. Lily is getting spayed today, and Gunther has already been neutered, so as soon asd she is healed they can live together and be best friends This is Breckin.... And this is Donder, my prickly lil babies lol These are the Axolotls This is 1 of my lizards, a baby bearded dragon. This is the rat when he was little, his name is Puddle. This is my boyfriends (black german shepard) dog eva, and his brothers (american bulldog) dog miley. And here is a video of the baby buttons, they are just to cute to watch

That's one heck of an extended family! They are adorable Those axolotls are really unusual! Especially the albino

Awesome group of fur and non-fur kids! Those axolotls are crazy looking (I'm terrified of lizards/gecko/and similar creatures) but they are neat from afar

All so cute! I love the name Puddle for the rat. I call Kenai a puddle all of the time because he is a big lazy puddle of fat and fur. ;D I love the Axolotls. It would be cool to own them. Where did you get yours?

Sadly in Alaska our reptile options are a bit limited. We don't have expos, only a few breeders (who charge ridiculous prices) and then whatever the pet store just happens to have in at the time. I wonder if I could get a store to order some....

well I would check out that site I gave you, there are people all around the world on it and maybe you can find someone near you that you could have them shipped. I am not sure how warm it has to be to ship them, but people do ship them, and in alaska you wouldnt have to worry about them getting too hot lol they need to be in temps lower than 70 degrees. some people in really hot locations even keep them in the refridgerator. They are such a cool animal to watch. And they eat earthworms :-) If your petstore can get them... usual juvenielle price is around $10-$20 I think, depending on the color, size etc...

That is good to know! lol I might have to keep mine in the fridge due to living in a 3rd story apartment! haha I WILL be moving soon though (OR ELSE!) so we will see where I end up. I will definitely check that site out thank you! IF I get one it will not be for a while. Do you know if they can be kept with fish? Since they are in the water and all? Just curious.

I wouldnt, they would prolly try and eat the fish which could be harmful to them, or the fish would try and eat the axolotls feathery gills, so either way not good lol
