I love Dwarf Hamsters. I've kept and breed them for many years now.
I miss having babies around but I haven't had any in about a year as I only have females but my girls are wonderful.

I've had 9 darf hamsters my entire life.
One was a little girl named Pepper. She somehow lived 6 years!!! She was the best pet I've ever owned (yes I love ferrets, but she really was the best). I could let her rid on my shoulder. She would answer me and talk back if I did something she didnt like lol!

My Chrono was like that. He was my first male, black with some small white spots on his chest and belly. He was wonderful, tame from the start and so sweet. He only lived about a year to 2 years but he lived very well and made me many beautiful babies.
He had wonder kids to, they all had great personalities and all tame from birth.

At the highest point of my group I had 35 little fuzz balls. They make wonderful pets. Sadly the two females I currently have I've been working with but they are so skittish. I bought them from a pet store in another city and I am sure they where never handled at all. But we're working together and slowly they are getting better.

Aww that's great that you're working with them!
You should post some more pictures. I would love to see more!

It's like any other little creature- you've got to earn their trust. I'm glad you are able to do this for them, and I agree- some more pictures would be adorable!
