But Neo is a simple cat. He hasn't quite figured out that he can jump up to get away from the ferrets. I kinda giggled at this, with no offense intended towards your kitty. Poor guy. Getting picked on

I've seen a number of cats with those caps. Most will take them to the vet and have them applied. Some do them at home. Personally I've never bothered. Yes, I do have one cat who would seriously hurt the fuzz if not supervised. However I've also got one fuzz who would gut the kitties if she could get a good hold on them

I think what we'll end up having to do is watch them very VERY closely until our kitty gets big enough to scatter when things get too sketchy with the ferrets. I suppose it also depends on how introductions go
