Oh, probably going to go get some rabbit raw medallions, some pinkies, fuzzies, and maybe some adult mice.

So I went to Petco. Got a few 3 packs of pinky mice, few packs of hoppers, fuzzies, 4 packs of adult mice, and two medium rats, along with 15 feeder fish. $75! Definitely not going to Petco for feeders anymore.... Need to start breeding them, LOL. I thought shipping for RodentPro was pretty pricey, but wow. Could have gotten 3x the amount of food for them for that price, with shipping!

Konotashi, just a thought, but since we both live in the same area, maybe some time in the future we could split a Rodentpro order? I'm not sure how shipping is charged, but it might be cheaper to have 1 large order vs. 2 separate orders.
I don't have a convenient place to have it shipped to right now but maybe in the future this would be a possibility, as I'm trying to move soon to a different address.

That would be awesome! That was the main thing keeping me from ordering from RodentPro, but if a SINGLE frozen pinky mouse is $1.79 at Petco, I'm thinking the shipping doesn't sound too bad. Haha.

Yeah, looks like through Rodentpro, 2 bags of pinkies (100 pinkies each) would be about $81.42 total, so with shipping it still comes to only about 40 cents pet pinkie, much cheaper than Petco I still think breeding could potentially be cheaper though, when I move I want to start breeding mice!

I just checked, shipping on 1 large order is definitely more economical than 2 separate orders. As an example, 1 bag of pinkies would cost a total of $64.71, and 2 bags would cost $81.42!

My closet is pretty much like a small extra bedroom, so I'd be able to breed them in there. Maybe breed rats too when I move.

Cut up about 1.5 oz of a few feeder fish, fuzzies, hoppers, and pinkies for them. I put it in there to see what they'd do with them. They weren't eating any of it, so I put about a spoonful of baby food on it and now it's edible. Haha.

I know exactly what you mean!!! Willow was a really bad fear biter when she came here. Bit to the bone every single time. And what do I do? Take a bad biter and give her the means to make her jaws even stronger ;D

Aww... Well Cooper is a baby, he will grow out of it I'm sure ;D
They tend to be psycho as babies, Finn was a little monster when I first got him, hard to believe because he's so sweet now ;D

He's not nipping or anything, but he can't seem to walk in a straight line without war dancing or falling over himself in happiness. LOL

Should probably also add, Alice's coat is much softer than it was before! Cooper is beefing up (he gained 19 grams between last night and this morning!) and has a ton more energy. Ahh, the benefits of raw. On a side note, Alice has lost weight. She's eating, but apparently not as much as she should...? On the 16th, she weighed 792g, on the 17th, she weighed 781g (-11g from the day before), and today she weighed 768g (-13g). Should I be concerned? She has a good activity level, and I know she's eating, because I see her eating throughout the day....
