Sonny has the best feeding den ever. you know those red "octo play" toys from Marshall Farms? it is like an octopus. well, I have to wash that thing all the time because Sonny eats inside of it. you see his body half in and half out of the octopus's mouth and he's in there chewing. LOL

I am going to go make a feeding den right now in one of those large plastic bins on wheels.... I'm trying to think how I will cover the outside to provide some darkness.

You can always just drape a towel to cover most of the entry.

The whole thing is see through. so I want to give some darkness. God I haven't had my tools out in a LONG time but I used a reciprocating saw to cut the bins. I am telling you NEVER again.... lol. I'm indoors with such a mess. Thats okay, I will post when I'm done

Does a feeding den stop them from stashing meat all around the house?

It SHOULD... mine doesn't stop my little one, she thinks she is like batman or something.

Here are ours. They seem to use them fine even though they are clear. We used to use 12pk soda boxes but we dont drink enough soda and end of buying it just for their dens so we moved to something more permanent. Attachments:

Does a feeding den stop them from stashing meat all around the house? It really depends on the ferret, where they are fed, and how consistent you are with training.

I really like that one that is hanging from the top of cage! I have always let my crew play in those soda boxes...LOL have to keep some more of those!
