Here's one of my feeding den set ups: The den is the bottom right. Lid is usually on, but off for pic.

Thanks- the 3 girls love it set up like that. They can get around easily, since they all weigh around a pound. The problem comes if I have to put any of the bigger ones in there ;D They can't get into the sleeping den on the top, and the litter box is a much smaller one.

Heres my new Set up. Not sure how it's going to go with the weasels but I made enough space for Am & Pm Meals.

Agreed Sherry, that is a unique looking den. I'd love to see it loaded up with meats. Is that one hook for each fert?

My new baby hob Finn kept taking his food into the litterbox, and Fenton and Fiona usually hide theirs under bedding which makes a mess, so tonight I finally set up 2 feeding dens! Now, looking at some of these pics, I'm thinking I maybe should make them bigger. It's just that so far, the ferrets seem to always find really small cramped places to hide the meat. We'll see how they work I guess. So far, the ferrets are using them and seem to like them. The dens are made from some plastic bins I got from Wal-mart, and I used clamps from a dollar store to clamp them to the side of the cage. Main feeding den on the bottom floor: P1010518 - Copy by walkerstop, on Flickr Secondary feeding den on 2nd floor, smaller: P1010517 - Copy by walkerstop, on Flickr Oh and you may have noticed kibble on the floor in the 2nd pic. Well don't worry... it's not for my ferts, and they certainly aren't eating it! It's left over from when I was babysitting my nephew's ferrets who are on kibble.

You know something? It doesn't matter how large or small the feeding den is. It all depends on whether or not the ferret likes it!

Wow! You all make me feel and look lazy! I just took a plant pot i had sitting around, put it on its side on the floor next to the litter box. they use it and seem to like it lol. and it helps hold the litter box in place. here are some pics

Like I said- size, looks, location- none of it matters a whit! It's whether or not the FERRET likes it ;D
