That's what I've been thinking as well. I had so been hoping for a playmate for her because my father and I have a father/daughter trip planned for the first weekend in may to go up to Ottawa, and I wanted her to have someone to play with while I was gone. Now I'm very paranoid about leaving her here alone because I dont want her to get stressed that I am gone as well. What if something like this had happened when I was gone? That's scary to think.

It is. Which is why I've not had a holiday in some time It sounds like you are on top of this, though, and will get her through this just fine

I'm very paranoid about leaving my girls. I'm ever more worried now that they're on raw - last thing I want is someone giving them kibbles. -.-

She's been doing well all day, other than still sleeping quite a bit. More active when she is awake, although not enough to play really. Just more interested in investigating where I've got her as I've been taking her around the house with me in her carrier.
She also seems to now only want to eat soup >.< Is this common? And is it bad for her once she's not ill to eat soup frequently? She hasn't really touched her regular food in a day, but eats lots of soup when its hand fed to her on a spoon lol.
going to drag myself to bed. I've called into work tomorrow because I want to stay home and make sure she keeps improving.
Also, the last two sub q injections have leaked back out a bit? Not a ton, but I freaked the first time it happened cuz I thought I somehow managed to puncture threw both sides of her skin, but it happened again at the last injection before bed. I checked and a bit came back out the spot I gave the injection. It was enough to make her a bit wet in that area, but again not a ton. Is that normal? I thought maybe it meant she was hydrated enough, or maybe I have done something wrong?
And last question, can I keep giving her these injections in roughly the same area all the time? The vet told me to do it at the base of the neck near the shoulders, but I'm having to give her four injections a day, so she's had 8 punctures in the last 48 hours. Supposedly I have to do this for 21 days? Can her poor neck handle that?
Off to bed I go.

I can answer for the soup, but not the subq. Don't have the experience for that one! Keep giving her the soupies for a few days yet, til she's feeling better at least. This is the very reason we recommend getting your ferret used to them. They generally don't feel like eating their normal food when they are feeling yucky, but will normally eat their soup without too much coaxing. Even after she's better, still give it weekly, anyway, so she stays accustomed to it.

She is continuing to improve I am happy to say. She is premier when she is awake and interested in checking out her surroundings. For sone reason she has decide to drag all her blankets down to the bottom level of her cage and sleeping down there? Normally she sleeps on the uppermost level so I thought that was a bit strange but doesn't hurt anything so i left it there.
I'm going to the vets tomorrow to puck up some of the butterfly attachments to make this sub q stuf easier when in doing it by myself. She's also up to 2 ice cubes of duck soup per feeding and she's eating 4 or 5 times a day. Is that too much?

I'd let her eat as much as she wants.
You might be able to condense the feedings to 3-4 depending on how much she eats per serving.
:-) glad she feeling better

She probably just feels more secure on the bottom of the cage. It would naturally be a bit darker, and more of a "den" feeling to it.

Is the litter box on the bottom? She might want to stay close so it's easier to go potty.
