We had our boys on Wysong, and then a mix of Wysong and Marshall's and we finally have switched them to raw food!!! We are very excited because it's taken a LOT less time than we thought! Right now, we are doing the Know Better powder and some ground chicken and today was the first day that they each ate and entire 6oz of chicken soup twice!! We gave them some this morning and then some just a minute ago for dinner, and while it takes a second for them to understand what it is, once I put some on their nose it's game over! Thank y'all for helping us! We eventually want to get them eating pre-made grinds, but that'll be for a later day.
My questions though are: 1) I believe I saw something that said that soups can be left out for 6-8 hours and grinds are 8-12. Is that correct? 2) We feed them in 2 different bowls right now so should I put leftovers in the bowl in the cage when it's after dinner? Do they still need some in the cage if they already had some for dinner? I'm not sure how to do that part 3) We plan on introducing more meats to the game, but right now we just want them to understand the chicken part. I think we are going to give it another day or two with just the chicken and then work our way to turkey, and so on. But I was wondering if I should be mixing meats already? And should we be adding anything else to their soups? Like does just chicken breast (or whatever meat) and the Know Better powder work?
I think that's it! Thank y'all!
