Hi, I got my first ferret (Tommy) about 6 weeks before getting another 2 (Katie & Ollie). My main concern (as I have many) is that Tommy seems to isolate himself to sleep. He is different from the other 2, and different from ferrets I see online and in videos. His sleep schedule during the day is almost completely opposite of the others. Occasionally they sleep together, but for the most part I find him in random places. Sometimes i move him to join the others. Is that what I should do? Or should I leave him?
Also, how do I add pictures?

As long as they're not aggressive towards each other, they can be together. Has he had other companions? Sometimes they isolate themselves because their past friend isn't there anymore. You can try having them in a rice box or other plaything together. Take them somewhere new together, or maybe just give them some time to adjust to each other. I hope this helps.

Hi. I got him from a pet store and he was alone. Then it was just him for a while. They play together and aren't aggressive. I just can't figure out why he goes off by himself so much and if I should be concerned. They have shared their cage and their room for a while now. Maybe 75% of the time he just sleeps in random places. The other 2 will only sleep in the cage, and then he goes up occasionally. It makes me sad!!

Ok I think I'm figuring out the picture part. These are all Tommy in a few of his random sleeping places.

As long as they all get along, you should be ok. Sometimes when ferrets are born later in the year their seasonal cycles and circadian rhythm (sleep cycle) can vary. I've had ferrets that acted like they went into winter mode (less active and less appetite) in spring, and they were born in Sept- Oct. Most of them were true crepusculars, active morning and evening and sleeping the rest of the day, like 20 hours. They will adjust.

My ferret is a single ferret. When my sister's ferret comes to visit he will play with her but when it comes to sleeping he likes to be alone. He will be sleeping somewhere and my sister's ferret wants to join him and then he leaves a finds a new spot. Tommy will get use to Katie and Ollie and eventually they will sleep together.
