Hello. I am new to the forum and if not allowed just let me know and I can remove. But My name is Courtney. I have a 6 month old female (Luna) and a 3 month old female (Nova) my concern is not for my 6 month old but for my 3 month old. It seems that when she walks she more hops sometimes going more to the side instead of straight she has a vet appointment on the 31st but does anyone know what might be going on? She’s eating and drinking and I’ve been watching her very closely and don’t see any alarming signs but I never seen this is my 6 month old so I am very worried for my little!

Could be a pinched nerve or a spinal injury, gonna need an X-ray to find out. Can you think of anywhere the ferret may have fallen off of a high spot? Was the onset sudden or gradual?

Is your little one still walking awkwardly? Can you post a video?

how did the vet visit go? I've had a couple male sables that walked like their front and back legs were not communicating. they kind of crab walked at times. It's not like they hopped, but the front and back legs were not always coordinated like most quadrupeds. Both lived good long lives Eddie and Mogli
