Hey guys,
I have two ferrets that are on Carnivora raw grinds.
They rotate meats everyday to ensure a proper balance.
They recently ran out of food so I went out to buy 3 new packs; for some reason both of them WONT touch the patties at ALL. One of my ferrets is a glutton; will basically eat anything but won’t touch this at all. I thought maybe it was that particular patty so I tried rabbit instead and they won’t eat it either.
I’m worried that there’s something wrong with the supplier or the meats because this is extremely unusual of garret to not eat.
I’m sure it’s not because they aren’t healthy because when I got them eggs they gobbled it up.
Have you guys heard anything about CARNIVORA? What should I do?
Are there any balanced grinds that you guys would recommend?
Thanks!

There are grinds at Hare Today. You have to purchase 10 lbs of things, though. I use their Fedex ground.
I have heard if places change suppliers they may not eat it, or then again it could be bad. Maybe you can call and ask if they have changed.

Have you contacted the supplier and asked if they have changed anything in the food you got? Sounds like something is different in the food so they aren't eating it. They may be getting the food from a different source then before.
I know my ferret won't eat rabbit from the grocery store but he will eat the rabbit I get from the butcher. Different sources and he knows the difference!! Smart ferret! lol
I've tried grinds once and my ferret didn't touch it so I don't buy them. It was a good thing I was given a sample to try. lol I'm not sure what company it was because it was a while ago.
