I was cleaning my 2 ferrets litter box's today and there was just a pure green poo in there it was just all green, I think it's from my new ferret. He went to the vet the other day and is healthy. He has a good appetite and drinks a good bit of water, he plays but he does sleep a lot. I'm not sure if that's common in baby's. He's only 2 months old

what is their diet? is it bright, almost neon green? how many of them were like that? i know it sounds gross, but if you could post a pic it, it could help. I had one ferret diagnosed with ECE and the poop was the color of the guts of a lime. Any ferret can be a carrier and not show signs for months, if at all.

They eat Marshall ferret food right now, this is the first one like this. There was some in a few of his poops but not a lot tinypic.com/view.php?pic=etxic4&s=9#.WodYtFBOl-E There's a link to the picture

Doesn't look like ECE to me, there was no mistaking that. Kibble fed ferrets can have varying poops. Don't ask me why. My kibble fed dogs had the same poops always unless they were sick but they showed other signs. Looked almost the same coming out as going in, cept different size and shape, lol. Made me change their diets. every so often the ferrets would put out some excess mucus.
