It's starting to get cold out (at least where I live) and I've been making a LOT of ferret sleeper bags... I've been using the legs of baggy, fleece pajama pants! I used some that I don't where anymore, and they're pretty cheap to thrift. I can usually get 4 bags per pajama pair! The sizes vary, but so do the sizes of ferrets. Some are single sized, some are good for multiple. I've made nearly 30 so far, here's some of them, and when I get enough I'm gonna take them to the local ferret shelter... It's not much, but I like to help out however I can.

Awesome job, Cassandra! Bless your heart, and it really is getting cold now, huh? We even got our first snows on the mountains this weekend.
Those look great and I am sure that the fuzzies at the shelter will love them and appreciate the gesture in the best way a ferret can, by curling up in it and dozing right off. ^^

That is so sweet of you. I love the thrift stores. Last year I found this nice thick winter, cloth hairband at the thrift store. I don't know how they did it but my ferrets were sleeping in it. It look like the ferret was in a cuddle cup:) wished I had taken a picture.
