???for those of u who use this product on small dogs and on cats please beware! I used it on my toy poodle and we had to rush her to the vet this morning with severe diarrhea/blood. she will be ok but she is on 2 medications, special canned food, and special baths for 7 days. then looking on the net to find this is not uncommon with small dogs and the cat version is known to kill with using any of the products from sergeant. please just be carefully. I bought it cause it was supposed to be all natural. well, it is still dangerous.

Thanks for posting this! I'm so sorry you and your dog have had to experience this. It's the same thing for Haartz, by the way.

I'm glad she's going to be ok. And so glad you jumped on it so fast! Those things can be fatal pretty quickly. I cannot believe these companies are still allowed to sell these things in spite of all the reports of them being so detrimental

does anybody know of a natural way of flea prevention? we don't have fleas here but my husband is a trucker and with all of her allergies, the vet wants her protected against fleas that my husband may bring home. she was on first shield trio and does fine on it but I want something natural. we just don't want to see her in trouble if she gets bit by a flea. she has vaccine reactions, and can't take a lot of liquid meds without her having a belly ache. she can't even use a popular brand of ear drops for ear infections.

You can try apple cider vinegar. 1tbsp per 16 oz of water, I believe. It's supposed to make them "unappetizing" to fleas and mosquitoes. If they don't accept that right off, try using a smaller amount, and gradually build up from there.

seems that with all the meds Paris is on she made it through the night without making a mess. for the next wk she gets 2 dawn dish soap baths a day, ( to make sure all oils are off of skin), imodium ad, metronidazole, children's benadryl and science diet ID canned food to be gentle on the belly. she's not loving it!! oh well, if she only could realize that it could have been much worse.
